Of course, after lunch we bought some bread to feed the ducks. Caleb reached for the $3 a loaf multigrain bread, and I told him, "no. The ducks don't like that kind of bread. They like this one," as I grabbed the 79 cent store brand. We walked around the lake and fed the ducks the entire loaf of bread. Caleb then wanted to go buy more, but I convinced him that the ducks weren't hungry any more. This little guy will be 3 in just a few days. Time flies, and they're only little for such a short time. We have to remember to savor every moment.

A few days ago Caleb and I went to pick his Mom up and take her to lunch. She works next to a small lake where Caleb likes to go and feed the ducks and geese. As we pulled into the parking lot, Caleb saw the lake and exclaimed, "I feed the ducks!" I told him that we would feed the ducks after lunch. Caleb told me, "The ducks is calling me. They say, Caleb bring me some food. NOW!"
